- Choose 'Originalformat' / turn off automatic image optimization and auto-crop-to-fill when uploading — these drugstore uploaders default to cropping and color-correcting the image, which will ruin a pre-laid-out ID-photo sheet.
- German biometric ID/passport photos are 35 x 45 mm, so a plain 10 x 15 cm print holds several of them with room for cut lines; a proper studio 'Passbild' service at the same shop typically costs roughly €5–20 for a set, far more than a self-printed sheet.
