- Costco Photo Centre no longer exists in Canada — Costco closed its in-store photo counters in 2021 and shut down its online photo service in early 2024 (now partnered with Shutterfly instead), so it is not a viable option.
- Black's Photography closed all its Canadian retail stores back in 2015 and is not a current option.
- "Passport photo" service at these chains (e.g. Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart) is a staffed, per-set service costing roughly CA$14-20 for two prints — much more than ordering a plain 4x6 print yourself, so uploading a pre-made ID photo sheet as a regular photo print is the cheaper route.

- Download the 4 x 6 in (10 x 15 cm) sheet in Step 3 above — it is the size photo kiosks and print services expect.
- Upload it through a photo print app or website, or bring it on a USB drive or phone to an in-store kiosk.
- Choose a 4 x 6 in, borderless, actual-size (100%) print — do not let the store crop, scale, or auto-enhance it.
- Pick up your print and cut along the thin gray guide lines to separate the individual photos.
